Anyone have any experience cutting the domes off pistols to lower the compression? I have 13-1s in a 468 and would like to get it in the pump gas range.

If the compression is too high. The only thing I have seen is replacement of the piston set. Particularly true when turbocharging a motor.

There is power to to be had from upping the compression. Too much of a good thing has expensive consequences.

BTW Diesel engines typically have compression ratio in the 17-25 range. A compression combustion engine. No spark plugs.

Trying to avoid the cost of a new set. If I can cut these down I save money to spend on my toys
