BTW, when I was a Scoutmaster our saying was, "If you're lost, hug a tree." When both people are moving no one gets found. Same with medicine -- if you keep moving the targets, and treating based on the new targets instead of the real trend, you'll never diagnose anything. Or if you change the test so both the target and the result are different, you can't tell what's changed and what stayed the same.
