Looking for someone who can help me restore an HK USP stainless slide back to or as close to factory new. I picked up a stainless USP with some slide wear id like to see if it can be fixed. Not looking to do a cerakote job.

Have you attempted to use a red 3M scotch brite pad on it? I cannot determine how deep the scratches on the slide are from the pictures. I have successfully removed minor scratches on stainless steel slides and frames this way.

This will sound crazy, but go to wally world and get a couple of these:

Use the course side to get the deep cuts out and the fine to polish it up.
I've used these many times on stainless to clean up and polish.
Follow with a couple rub downs of Flitz polish.

Redneck as all getout, but if you've got an air compressor you can do it yourself. Look up DIY sandblasting on Youtube. You can do it yourself with an air compressor, a plastic water bottle, an air nozzle, and some playground sand. Tape off what you don't want blasted, like frame rails. I would disassemble the slide and stuff it full of modelling clay before blasting.

Note that it will probably be tough to match the finish, unless you use the exact same blast media.
