Prayers sent.
Yesterday Bear got moved out of the ICU; his lung capacity improved.
There is a new concern with a numbness that has developed in his lower body. The doctors are still looking into that. A neurologist will hopefully be able to evaluate him tomorrow.
The plan for this afternoon is for the stint to be put in.
He is in a lot of pain and has not been able to eat or drink much this week. His voice is very weak from being intubated and he is fitfully sleeping most of the time.
There is still a long way for him to go.
Continue to keep him and his wife in your thoughts and prayers.

Praying for a speedy recovery.
The stint was not put in yesterday as there is a complication that the doctors felt could only be handled at Emory. So Bear is in a holding pattern until they figure out when. Hopefully it will be soon and he will not have to stay in Atlanta long as that will really stress his family's ability to support him.
