Bear spray?.....does it work?

My bear spray is a Glock 15 round 10mm loaded with Underwood Hardcast. That is probably the absolute bare minimum loading although I read about about a guide that killed a nasty Griz up there with a 9mm.

My woods gun is a S&W 329NG 6rds of 44 mag. Though with how light the 1895 trapper is in 45-70, I've considered toting that around while backpacking/fishing.

I carry a S&W29-2 six inch barrel. Even then I don't feel 'comfortable.'

I survived a bear attack using bear spray. It worked fantastically. My deceased friend screamed in agony and stopped running when I sprayed him just before I narrowly escaped with my life. I'm a believer in the stuff for sure.
