Beef heart tacos

I bought a beef heart for my dog from a local processor. Decided to slice some thin and sear it in a cast iron skillet with some garlic and salt and hit it with some mojo sauce to finish. Made outstanding tacos. Unfortunately, this is the sort of thing I only get to fix when my wife won’t be eating with me. i don’t understand why they don’t sell these in Mexican restaurants.

I’ve always just left them in the gut pile but I won’t going forward. I had kinda low expectations but these were some of the best tacos I’ve ever eaten.

Beef and venison heart are very good. I wish I could stomach liver and kidney but just can't. I think most people would like heart if you didn't tell them what it was.

deer heart is very good chicken hearts and beef tongue are all tasty

Highly recommend bobcat also! Fried is incredible!
