has there ever been an unofficial odt meetup at say sweetwater/Terrapin brewery? might be a good idea.

Also if you guys havent had anything by Burnt hickory Brewery in Kennesaw ya'll need to check them out. Graham cracker stout will ruin you if you can find it. it will never see a bottle though so you have to find it on draft.

Yep, I'm lucky enough to be on his beer list. I normally do not drink beer, but GAGunguy has changed my mind about beer. Sipping on one of his black lagers as I type...

Is is harder to brew stout style beers (cream, milk or oatmeal style) at home than most others or just a different combo of ingredients? Just curious I know nothing of home brewing.

You can do a stout at home.

its as easy or as complicated as you want to make it.

Anybody been to the Beer Growler? Great selection. Picked up some Green Flash, wow.

Turtle Creek Wine and Spirits just opened a second store at Hwy 316 & 81 in Barrow County. The store is a lot larger than the other one. They have always had a great selection of beers and are really nice folks. The have a growler in the front part of the store. I picked up a 64oz growler of Kona Koko Brown Ale on Friday. It's very tasty beer. Not your everyday brew. I can't wait to try some of the other beers they have. They're supposed to open up a tasting room in a few months.

Green Flash is incredible either way.

Just cracked one of my double ipa's. It pretty hoppy. Good color, dark side of amber. I like it.

Its pretty intense, not for sissy boys.

Reminds me of green flash.

I will save you beer snobs a bottle or two.
