Shaved mine off when I turned 60, just because I hadn't seen what I really looked like for over 30 years. Grew it back as soon as possible, possibly forestalling divorce proceedings. Most common comment was "you don't look like yourself". Wife said it was a shock, who was that stranger roaming around the house?

I shaved mine because it was turning gray. Without it my double chin showed. Couldn’t grow it back because of work. So I had to lose weight. Now I’m 20 lbs lighter and in much better shape. So glad I shaved!

I shaved mine off close to 10 years ago (and have kept it off). Made me look 10 years younger. So I guess I'm back where I started, and now beard would be mostly gray...

It was just Saturday when my wife asked if I was growing a beard. I told her it's still too hot here for that. And if I did grow it I'm betting it would be mostly grey.
Oh yeah the pics in the original post kinda look like Manson next to Dr.Oz.
