Belt with built in holster. ANYONE tried it ?

At 35 I would have expected a cheap piece of crap. The advertised belt would probably be around 80 plus, so for 35 I would have elected cheap and passed on it.

I ordered an Amish belt after someone here recommended them... about $20 plus a few dollars for shipping (if I'm remembering right). I was a very good quality thick leather belt. Frankly I was surprised after getting my hands on it. The back is a little rough, but that helps to keep it in place.

From where did you order said belt? I would be interested.

Let me see if I can find the old thread.... Hank's Amish Clothing rings a bell, but I'll have to double check.

Edit again to add: They're $30, not the $20 I mentioned earlier... I should have checked, I just didn't know if anyone would be interested.

A Glock is a Glock but a gun belt is not a gun belt in the same regard. I agree with BA that a $35 gun belt of any decent quality is wishful thinking. Although, I'm typically a bit more diplomatic in my approach when opining. Anyhow, that looks more like a gun slot or holder more than it resembles the function of a real holster. But, yeah, the $35 shipped should've been a dead giveaway. Glad they took care of it though. And, hey, you tested it for all of us, so I'd call it a win. Thanks!

Thanks for the great info.
I ordered one extra long, it will give me enough extra to make the inside loop out of. I will just need the rivets now. $42 shipped.

I've seen this product on numerous Facebook forums. Seems like a lot of people like them alot. I guess when they buy a belt for $35 shipped that's been modified to hold a gun they don't expect an $80 belt. I got one based off the reviews I saw, and I think it works perfectly fine. I wear it everyday. Check'em out for yourselves. upstate guns and ammo, National 1911 Diehards, Iowa weapons and ammo, Hunters and gun traders to name a few. As for the trigger guard being uncovered, its only like that in the photo. When its worn the tension on the belt holds the gun higher and keeps the trigger guard covered.
