Benelli Light Options ???

So, I have this new (to me) Benelli M1 shotgun. 20" with full length magazine tube. GREAT Shotgun!!!!
But, I wanted to put a light on it. Got a Nordic barrel band with the intent of replacing the small sheet metal Benelli band, and using it as a base for a TLR1 or X300.
However, in actual use, it would not stay put on the barrel, wanting to move forward under recoil, without a light. When tightened enough that it does not move, it binds the magazine follower.
I really did not want to go with the weight of one of the old Sure Fire forearms.
Suggestions?
Ideas?

One of the GG&G mounts that go under the fore end retaining nut?

This may not be helpful as I can't find a name on the mount and don't remember where I got it 20 or so years ago, but it works great.

Check out Elzetta. They make mounts and lights for most shotguns. Good gear.

Put some double sided tape between the barrel and mount.
