Last Expo gun show Cherokee Pawn had trade-in model 92's for $399....I'm still kicking myself for not getting one.

Thanks Radar, do you think the Beretta trade-in models are as reliable as the Glock trade-ins?

I don't know. I own a couple of M&P's so I'm not really a Glock guy (but would pick up a trade-in if the price was right). The great thing about Glock is being able to drop it off at the factory and have all the springs replaced. I would think they inspect everything else for wear as well. Someone here would be able to give you more info about that.
I assume most LEO trade-ins are carried (and maybe dropped) more than they are shot so I would at least give the Beretta's a look. I had just picked up a Taurus 92 at a good price but really wanted a Beretta, just decided to stay more with the M&P because I already had mags and holsters for the 9/40 full-size.
