You could also put an extra smaller magnet and put another mag beside it. I would in my case put it on the backside of the door that opens against the wall to hide it.

I would be afraid that if I reached for it in a hurry, I would knock it loose and it would hit me on top of the head and fall to the floor where it would be a fight for a loaded gun.

I would be afraid that if I reached for it in a hurry, I would knock it loose and it would hit me on top of the head and fall to the floor where it would be a fight for a loaded gun.

It takes a good tug to get it off.
