My favorite is Mrs AC's Savage FVSR, very quiet and accurate. I shoot both Dobbs 22 cans on her and I couldn't be more pleased. She shoots the 100-yd course with it at CMP with great accuracy

The Savage is a great host as well!!!

The mags are the only downside to the FVSR. I went with a Ruger American model 8372. A little more $$ than the FVSR but I already had plenty of 10/22 mags that it uses. I run a Spectre II or a Mask on mine. Stupid quiet with CCI Standards.

I run the exact setup,Ruger American and a Spectre II, happy with the accuracy and quietness. Always looking for better, in for suggestions.

What sucks about the Savage's mags? I dont think I've ever had a feeding issue.
