If you want a good deal, wait around and it will come. If you want a great deal, have some cash set aside for Christmas time. In the couple weeks before Christmas there are some incredible deals to be had.

I don't know which deal was my best, but again, the most memorable great deals I've found were around Christmas. I remember scoring a brand new NEF single shot rifle in .280 and a scope for $175. That was pretty good.
