The other day it was 308 today it is 308.308 is best and thats a fact.

probably forgot one or two...lol

I did forget one .44mag out of a 11.5" ruger super blackhawk...lol

takes lots of practice,the technique was handed down from my father and his father ,my grand father also a full blood Ojibwa used to do it with arrows..

25-06 IMHO, though I have used a .308 the last 2 years since the rifle is lighter than my 25-06. A good shot will usually take care of the animal unless it is a .22 or 17 HMR, and these will also if proper shot placement(preferred caliber of poachers).
