Best fixed blade self defense knife for EDC

Schrade SCHF14 Don't know about the "best" but it's a stout blade with a nice handle and a good size for EDC.

ShivWorks actually teaches open handed and edged weapon skills. Don't own one, but it looks like a fantastic blade with a highly functional sheath meant to be worn at the cemterline/belt buckle.

Yea that shivworks looks like what I am looking for. Do you have the small or large TDI? the small doesn’t look big enough but the large looks to large to carry

I am in situations that prohibit me carrying any gun in any way practical, quite a bit due to my work.
So I have a ESSE/KBar that fits nicely on my belt, stays tucked away but easy to reach in my normal EDC position on my belt.
