Smith & Wesson Model 41. I have a stock Ruger KMK 678 CG that's close for out if the box. Of course, a few modified ones that beat them but not for out or the box!

For a DA trigger the Sig SRT is hard to beat. For a striker fired gun it is a toss up between the Sig P320 or the HK VP9. Both guns have very good out of the box triggers.

by far the best non 1911 semi auto trigger ive felt is a CZ75 tactical sports. Under 2lb out of the box, and 1 minute to adjust the take up with an allen key

^^^THIS!^^^ Without going to a "High-Dollar" Competition-centric Gun like some of the High-end CZ' s, the Smith & Wesson Revolvers have about as good a Single Action Trigger as you are likely to find...In the world of Rimfires, the already-mentioned High Standard, Smith Model 41 and the Swiss Hammerli are hard to beat....mikey357
