Best mattress you have ever slept on or are sleeping on now? We keep trying to find one.

Honestly I have a 14” hybrid off of amazon with adjustable frame and it’s lasted 4 years no issues.

I replaced both my kids mattresses about a year ago with similar mattress’s but got them the steel platform frames w/o box springs.

Prior I’ve had Purple, The NASA Memory Foam, Sleep Number, and countless high end Serta’s with box springs. These above did not last at all for consistent marital duties though 🤣

We are about to replace our king Sleep Number, with most likely a Dream cloud hybrid. Sleep number beds are great..if you can’t sit up on your own…but really don’t sleep that great(IMO)..and the one we have uses split sheets…which are a pita to find. One side is leaking down, and the remotes are falling apart…none of which are warranteed. .so,I’ll keep the base & put a more conventional mattress on it!

We went to Vegas a few years back and stayed at the Bellagio. the mattress we had was the best we've ever slept on.
Wife took pics of the tag we found on it.
Came home and ordered one, over $2K.
Was great for a couple years but now the pillow top has slid to one side more than the other and it has body shaped places in it where we sleep.
I'd like to know of a good one myself

Wife and I stayed at the George V (Four Seasons) hotel in Paris and the mattress was incredible. I have always wanted to buy one of their mattresses but never could get past the price.

Over the years we have gone through a minimum of 10 different mattresses of all types except the sleep number one. Most are $800 to $1500 and after awhile they all suck. Toss and turn all night and not a good nights sleep. Latex, spring, combination, memory foam etc etc. We have not been able to find a mattress that allows us to get a good nights sleep.

What do you recommend??

Serta. It was only 2k.

We look at mattresses like tires. We replace every couple of years.

Sleeping good is priceless.

Dont be cheap.
Pillows made 100 years ago are priceless.

My mom is leaving me one in her will made over 200 years ago.

You don’t even know unless you know.

Everyone is buying a mattress in a box these days. They’re not my favorite. It’s very subjective though. Go to a store that has a good variety. Lie down on them. Find one you like. Traditionally, mattresses were the most marked up item in a furniture store, so you can probably shop around once you find a couple you like.
