If you change the pillow case every week… you won’t end up with zits on your face looking like herpes.

Our Stearns & Foster has been amazing , going on 8 years. Don't forget about your pillow, I bought side sleeper, memory foam one (will have to figure out the brand) spent about $150. I don't leave home without it

Over the years we have gone through a minimum of 10 different mattresses of all types except the sleep number one. Most are $800 to $1500 and after awhile they all suck. Toss and turn all night and not a good nights sleep. Latex, spring, combination, memory foam etc etc. We have not been able to find a mattress that allows us to get a good nights sleep.

What do you recommend??

We have Original Mattress Factory. Had it for decades, no complaints. Firm mattress with pillow top

Only if it needs it. I think I've had maybe 3 or more in my lifetime. if you replaced everything as often as they would like you'd never be able to afford anything. I had one that only lasted 4yrs. The others have lasted decades. Buy a good one and cry once

Also, I hate to be the bearer, but if you're old and out of shape you're gonna sleep poorly no matter what.

Not out shape me or wife bad backs from old injuries I payed more other day for 2 mattress than I did my first new truck in 78

It's the padding, filler, fabric that breaks down from natural use due to sweat, loose skin, and other bacteria that grows from within. At least that's what the wife tells me.
