Best mattress you have ever slept on or are sleeping on now? We keep trying to find one.

I don’t know who makes ours but it was about 20x more expensive than any other mattress I’ve ever had. It’s fine but no better than the $150 one that I got at Costco 20 years ago. It came in a box the size of a mini fridge and had wheels built in to make it easy to get to the car. Best mattress ever

Honestly I have a 14” hybrid off of amazon with adjustable frame and it’s lasted 4 years no issues.

I replaced both my kids mattresses about a year ago with similar mattress’s but got them the steel platform frames w/o box springs.


Prior I’ve had Purple, The NASA Memory Foam, Sleep Number, and countless high end Serta’s with box springs. These above did not last at all for consistent marital duties though 🤣

I'd like to have the $ you've spent on mattresses!!

You know it is recommended to replace your mattress every 10 years.

Nope on that one too. When it starts leaking, I'll replace it. My last house I replaced it once in 35yrs. I bought the house new

We have a Sleep Number, maybe 7-8 years old now, paid almost $3k for it, one of their entry-tiers. Up to that point, it was the most my wife and I've ever spent on a mattress. We were sold a better night's sleep due to how you can adjust the bed for perfect spinal alignment.

We really liked it for maybe the first 6-months before it lost most of its hype. Some of those nights were excellent sleep. But the longer it went on, a good night's sleep is less common. Some nights we wake up very sore, others the sleep is "ok" at best. The mattress actually turned me from a back sleeper into a side sleeper because I became tired of waking up with back pain - now I just wake up with shoulder pain

Also, I now understand how my particular mattress is constructed (basically an air mattress tucked inside an outer shell), so it's clear to me that my particular model is just very poor design.

If I had more money I'd replace it in a heartbeat. But I would say that it's surprisingly held up very well.

Sleep number for over 5 years now. 0% interest around Labor Day. Bought side sleeper pillows there. Go in, lay on them, adjust the firmness and see which you like. No issues at all with ours. Highly recommended

I sleep on couple different ones. Both are over 30 yrs old. 1 is a Simmons Beauty Rest the other is a Kings Down.

Just sleep in a hammock. No need to worry about a mattress.
