Remington 1187 by the bed, Kimber under my pillow, Smith snubby 357 under the dogs pillow and a Ruger .44 carbine on the dogs side too. He and I just talked, we both agree that we would grab the pistols last... :-)

I got a Smith 500. Nothing says "get the F*@& out of my house" at 3 in the morning like a 325 grain hollow point to the chest. I also have my g27 for backup(like you need it after the 500)

I have a Colt 1911A1 on my night stand loaded with Double Tap Equalizers (130 grain Nosler HP on top of a 100 grain wadcutter) and 2 spare mags, the wife has a Glock 27 loaded with Black Talons, the closet in our bedroom has a SPAS 12 loaded with 3 slugs first and the rest 00, lastly in the middle of my house is my Arsenal SGL-21 with a 40 rounder of HPs. I think we are good here. The DeEagle 50 floats around as does a Smith 357 with wadcutters. I would just hope there would be enough left to identify the bodies.
