Be sure you're upwind when you spray it so as not to treat yourself also.

Anything in the 2 million SHU range should work great. What spray pattern are you planning on getting? Comes in foam, cone, or stream. Foam is only really effective in warm weather. Cone has best atomization of liquid but you'll wind up getting a little when you deploy it probably. Stream goes the furthest but you gotta have good aim.

Looks effective and easy to carry in a pants or shirt pocket. Nobody would notice it either since it's pretty small. I like it...

Definitely stay away from any of the gels. Take too long to take effect.

Itll work, but it's a felony to spray someone with bear spray. It's around 5 or 6 million scoville, and will actually give you chemical burns. Obviously if you were defending yourself you wouldn't worry about the felony, just thought I'd make that known.
