Mullet Bay was pretty good. It's close to Neptune Park on St Simons. Skippers Fish Camp in Darien right on the river is good. Jinwrights on 17 in Brummick is good. I want to try Marshside Grill further up 17 just before the Sidney Lanier Bridge. They pack them in everyday and I hear good things.
Now let me tell you what was NOT good. B&Js in Darien is NOT good for breakfast lunch or dinner. It's just a sad short buffet of mostly fried **** that is a disappointment. It's over priced and served at old wobbly tables in a building that's had the same carpet since the 80s. But it's priced like it's on Jekyll or St Simons. Aultman's Seafood further up 17 in Eulonia is the same story. We tried Muscat Charlie's a while back right on 17 at the Glynn McIntosh line and couldn't get waited on. Couldn't even get acknowledged by the wait staff.
I sat in there one day waiting for my 3 piece fish and fries for right at 45 minutes and it wasn't even during the lunch rush.
I'm seeing a few suggestions for B&Js Don't fall for it. Trust me it sucks. I've had better seafood at Chinese/Japanese buffets in Warner Robins .
Seafood near Brunswick? Try the Atlantic.
