I’m gonna have to agree on a handgun too, most likely a Glock in 9mm. They just work, period. And ammo is plentiful, plus sooner or later if I live long enough, I’ll run up on a long gun somebody had to drop for whatever reason. I really ain’t too worried about it though because when my wife & I run outta certain meds we won’t last long anyway, screw it. Lol! Still wouldn’t be a good idea to come messin around my house while I’m still kickin though, might kick ya in the nads right quick. Haha!

I have a Henry AR-7 and it is a perfect “only gun” for SHTF. It’s a compact takedown so it fits in a backpack has 2 spare mags and I have a couple of 50rd .22LR ammo holders.
