Fortner Taxidermy is in Loganville. Chris does excellent work, however, he stays very busy, so you might have to wait a little. He has done six deer mounts and a turkey for us. Just picked up one from last year. It looks so realistic, you think it is going to walk away.

I'll second them. Charles does a great job and has won many awards for his great work, it's a little more expensive than some other places but the quality is very good.

Sam Smith in Athens does an incredible job! Not sure if he still does it for the public.
