Better than opening day of deer season? Hmm...

Hunting Fort Stewart requires a state license, hunter education card, and weapon/s used to be registered on Fort Stewart, as well as a Fort Stewart hunting access pass($70).

The weapons registration is done on Fort Stewart at the vehicle registration office, Monday-Friday, 0900-1530.

Pass and Permit is open Monday, Wednesday-Friday, 1100-1630 and Saturday-Sunday, 0700-1630.

Once you have your weapons registered(do this first) and your access pass...hunting area status is found on the Fort Stewart MWR website.

Signing in/out of an area is done with the automated phone system.

Anyone that wants to come Fort Stewart and hunt has an open invitation from me to show them the hot spots. I may not be able to hunt with you(schedule/college/family); but I can point you in the right direction.
