I think they starged shipping to useless, less valuable end users in 2019. No longer keeping their precious dealers as exclusive.

But more seriously, if I order something and they don't process it within a day or so, and don't ship it within an additional day or two without warning me, I'm gonna buy stuff elsewhere.

I know every major vendor now drop ships from their distributor, but one of the benefits of that was meant to be efficiency, not inefficiency.

On September 22, 2025, I placed and order for some ammo. This morning, since it has been a week and I haven’t received a shipping notice, I called and inquired about my order’s status. The CS lady said the order was processed on Sept. 23 but the warehouse hadn’t shipped it and she had no way of knowing when it would be shipped and couldn’t tell me why it was delayed.

I have been a customer of Natchez S&O for many years but if they can't ship an order within a day or two of being processed or at least tell me when it will ship, then I’ll spend my money with the many other ammo supply companies I’ve ordered from that do have fast, reliable shipping.

Dunno who you'll switch over to, but aside from Bereli, I'd give a shout-out to https://www.targetsportsusa.com/.

Not a shareholder, just a 10+ years customer. They ALSO are not the fastest - consistent delivery 4 days after the order. Free shipping on the case-load. Just a big, relatively efficient ammo store.

Thanks for the info I’ll check them out. I’ve bought from SG Ammo, Mid-South and always had good service and shipping within a few days of ordering which is very reasonable. 8 days later and no way to tell me when it will ship is unsatisfactory in my opinion.

More and more companies are going to a “drop ship” business model. They own no buildings, inventory, or logistics. It’s just a web based store front.

When the supplier is on their game, it’s easy money. Problem is, the drop shipper is at the total mercy of the supplier holding up their end of the deal. It can go very sideways very fast.

Unless you’re Amazon, very few companies have enough clout to demand anything. Piss off your suppliers, and there goes your business.

I’ve always had good service but the last two orders took forever and no one could tell me why. Don’t need the aggravation especially when there are so many other companies that have reliable shipping.

I try to bundle stuff. They dont deal in black powder no more so I tend to use Graf and powder valley.
