Mods do have the ability to see your pm's. They obviously don't do that just to get their rocks off. The only reason they read pm's is in the case of negative feedback or somebody reporting an issue with someone threatening them in a pm.

Have to disagree with this.

On another site, mods (admins??) would read PM trying to figure out who you really were. Several of my rowdy acquaintances had that happe (me too). Excuse was that mods were trying to ferret out banned members. Have to say the mods there were much more cliquish than anything I've seen here --maybe I'm missing something.

No feedback, and I never had a harsh word in a PM. What I did have in PM was harsh words about how the mods favored their buds, the conversation was with like minded people, and we all got bit in the butt by the PM.
