Bird Nest

I had a Phoebe visit me 2 years in a row when I was blowing leaves - stirring up moths/insects for her to jump on. When I sat down to take a break she'd fly over and sit on my cap or perch on my blower waiting for the next round.

Got to where I could get her to perch on my hand but one day she hopped up my arm and pecked me in the eye, guess she saw her own reflection and thought it was another bird. No damage done but it gave a whole new meaning to the suggestion that wearing safety glasses was recommended :p.

That’s really cool. I love having them at the garden since they eat a ton of bugs.

I can lean out the front door and get shots at them with a pellet gun. Works wonders until they make a nest and the kids and wife don’t want me to get rid of them…
I’m trying at this time to stop some from getting that far(as having babies).. if they get that far I guess I’ll let em be
