I think we have one lone surviving member of the club that's a WWII combat vet. He's 95 this year I think.

My best friend’s Dad served with the 5th Marines and was on the amphibious assault on Iwo Jima. He’s still alive and still tough as nails.

A friend of mine Mr. Woodrow Wilson or "Woody" as he was known at Magnolia Manor was 97 when he passed away. He stormed that same beach at Normandy with his brother. He said the only thing that terrified him was the thought that one of the dead bodies he was stepping over would be his brother that landed before him. Those were men! Mr. Graziano carried a flame thrower. God bless him!
