No money, just fiat currency. Money has inherent value such as gold and silver, both of which have a 6000+ year history of being a reliable store of value. All currencies are inherently worthless and eventually go to zero value in an average of 45 years. Regardless, it is not investing, but rather speculation...and it is fine, as long as you can afford to take the risk..... and have a chair when the music stops.Call it what you will, there is/was money to be made... A lot.
Yes... Tulips were once instruments of speculation as well.Any currency is only worth what it can be exchanged for in terms of other currencies, goods or services. I'm yet to be convinced any of the cryptocurrencies are anything other than an instrument for speculators at THIS point in time. No predictions for the future !
