bob gun

Nothing wrong with a Hi Point except he wants it for a bob or ghb for women. Putting a boat anchor in the bag along with the other nessessities will make it very very VERY heavy.

Start with pepper spray & a taser to put in her GHB first then save up to pick up for a decent ccw, one gun that she is comfortable with. Chances are if you try to find the cheapest gun out there. She won't like it due to a really heavy trigger pull like on a snub nose revolver or that it won't fit her hands as well..

If she plans to get her ccw, get her a gun that she wouldn't mind carrying around or shooting.

Had a friend do that recently. His wife won't even use the gun....

I'm in favor of the keep it simple revolver plan. I think a short to mid length barrel wheel gun in 22 WMR would be effective. It was either H&R or NEF that used to make good ones. You could probably find one on Gunbroker in your price range or close. If not you could probably find one from Taurus on the used market.

I have owned and shot many hipoints and it is a good gun with a lifetime warranty. The only time ur gonna have problems is from not cleaning em at least after 1000 rounds. I got a 995 carbine on trade that would not feed, I put my finger in the breach and it was so dirty it looked like someone was growing tomatoes in it. I cleaned it and it was fine (I still have it and shoot it a lot) in that video the guy hammered a barrel obstruction in it end if the barrel and fired a round that was 50% over the powder load and the gun didn't blow and still fired normally after that stress test

get a cricket .22 for $100. Its light and very accurate and small
