I've used Bon Ami for decades for jobs requiring more than soap & water
and less than engine degreaser, sand paper, or steel wool.
Bon Ami is a scratch-free powder comes in a can like Ajax or Comet.
As many people as I've mentioned it to and they never heard of it
I thought some ODTers might also be unaware of it's benefits.
For example, once bought a truck that had been sitting under
trees for quite awhile. Hosed it down, sprinkled Bon Ami on a sponge
as I went along section by section. Not only washed away the crud but
also some dead paint. Surfaces were ready for waxing. Can label states
'scratchless' so also good for cleaning pots & pans, stainless surfaces w/o
marring the surface. Not as many stores carry it now, walmart didn't have
it last time I looked. Most recent purchases have been at Publix for about
$1.39/can so not only is it effective it's budget friendly. Hope dis helps
