I use Flint River Minerals since they are the cheapest I have found. A lot of guys swear by Buck Muscle also. I really don't think it matters a whole lot as they bulk up on them much better than corn. My feeder is gravity fed and looked to be about 100-150lbs down inside (holds 500lb of protein pellets) in the last 3 weeks. Make sure to have a mineral lick in the area also as they will hit it hard also. Every year I put a 50lb bag of di-calicium phospate (spelling??), 50# bag of trace mineral cattle salt, and a bag of deercaine in my hole. It's about 6 feet wide and about a foot deep from them eating the clay. It gets a lot of use the next couple of months. Does for bone recovery from dropping fawns, and bucks for antlers.
