its hold by friction strong seal. then theres a bolt at the bottom to lock it complety by tighten the bollt and nut

Thank you. Maybe consider printing the hinge and latch points to accommodate an allen bolt on one side and a nut on the other side so the print allows the nut to be pressed in and the allen head can be recessed. I’d even say most aren’t going to deploy the brace so do the same up top. Just a suggestion. I haven’t done any 3D printing so this is pretty neat stuff.
What printer and material/filament are you using or recommend?
i use a end 3 and pla+ 100% fil. if you need the file lmk
i recommend just shouldering it cause it does it job 100% but using it as a brace may snap it if the load to heavy
