Boyd's gun stocks

Got a Model 70 300 win mag i would like to do something with, would love to see a pic of yours
I will send you one, pm me so i will not forget. But that 300 win mag may be a little too much for those key deer down in flordia ...heheh:D ,send me your address and i will mail you a high power BB gun ..:thumb:

I have three of them currently.

One is on my custom Turk Mauser .358 Win. I went with a classic laminate in Royal Jacaranda, unfinished. I finished it with True Oil and put a Limbsaver recoil pad on it. I also glass bedded it (amateurishly) and opened up the barrel channel (no other mods needed). The stock looks very good and the gun shoots great.

Another one is on a Ruger Charger that I SBRed. It is a laminate in Applejack and goes great with my red TacSol barrel. I had to make a slight modification on it so that it would fit with the Jard trigger that I have on that gun.

The final one is a Walnut stock and forend (finished) that I put on my Marlin 336 in .35 Rem. It looks great and fit without any mods needed.

Mine is the camo color

Forest camo laminate? That's the one I have my eye on...Looks sweet.

I'm also curious about their checkering quality, finish quality (gloss?) etc. I doubt if I will go with a gloss finish, but I will have some checkering if the quality is up to par.

Yep Forrest Camo, trying to decide on the checkering. Was gonna check and see if Traction Grips could come up with a kit for it,only want the forend checkered

It isn't too expensive to get the checkering as long as the quality is good, which I assume it is after reading all the good feedback.

I like this pattern. It's a French name and I can't pronounce it, but it looks nice. I believe it would look great with the forest camo. $55 to have the fore arm and grip checkered..
