Wonder how that ties in with this headline from today? It leaves an opening out west for him.....

Rivers, age 39, was already released by the Chargers...signed by the Colts for a one year $25 million deal...to hopefully fill Luck's abrupt retirement last year.

Dunno about that... He's got talent but can his arm last much longer after two (I think) surgeries? He has had a lot of injuries, based on his size and ability to run.
I listened to some talking heads on ESPN radio today..some receiver at Dallas got $100 million for five years, Cam Newton "only" gets 19 million a year, his contract has one more year. Guess it pays to play..lol
But they all DO have to play 17 regular games this year
