Breaking – CMP To Receive 86,000 M1 Garands From The Philippines

There should be a few thousand M1C's in this batch as well. Those were phased out of active service ~20 years ago.

Will be curious how the CMP prices all of these when they come over. Not like these were used for a few years and stored away. Most are probably in beat-to-crap condition.

Hopefully they will be very reasonable, I'd love to get a few. Any chance they'll have some in 308 or tanker style, you think?

This. I think it would be neat to own one but I'm a deal hunter so I won't refinance my house over them.

I remember them having some field grade not too long ago for around $630ish. I could use a $300 Garand in 308...Just saying

Yeah, I would buy one in that range. However, it's probably going to be $539 +39.99 shipping +12.99 processing fee, etc..

I would like to see some carbines at reasonable prices.

I'm not a big fan of that gun, but a CMP paratrooper at any kind of reasonable price would be sweet
