I'm pretty sure there is.
If agents of the state start pulling people over and downloading phones, this would be a bad thing. Period.
Also, I will get a burner and leave it in the car because I value my privacy.

If they were taking your DNA and storing it somewhere, it would be different than a breathalyzer.
What do you think they are doing with the stingrays?
What do you think they are going to do with the data they download?
Think they might tag your ODT membership, pictures of guns, or anything else?

Driving is not a privilege. It is how people travel. Travel is a basic human function. How would you work without it? get food? yeah sure bus stops or whatever but you and I both know that is total BS.

Here lets play a game. A What if game.

What if in the late 1700's King George told the colonists that horses were now a privilege. All colonists would have to pay for registration, fecal testing, license plates, horse licenses, horse insurance, and register their horses with the state. Any horse caught without all valid information would be confiscated by the King and the rider imprisoned.
If a rider were caught riding a horse whilst reading a piece of paper, that the information on the documents were to be inspected by the king's agents to determine if they were safe. If the King decided that it was unsafe, the rider would be charged a penalty.

How would the colonists have replied?

Tell me now about your idea of freedom and that you aren't just repeating the bull**** they tell you about rights a privileges. About how without it no one would be safe. You need the government to be safe. right?

Every time I drive I almost hit an asshole on a bike. No functioning brake lights, or turn signals, breaking traffic laws at will while displaying a "share the road sticker"
I hope people pull their heads out of their asses and stop allowing bicycles on streets. People are dying out there.
