Got this little guy from another ODT member despite my wifes less than enthusiastic "approval". After 3 months of honest trying she still just cannot bond or accept the dog and is tense around him most of the time which isn't fair to her or the dog. He really is a good dog but I think the whole thing got off on the wrong foot and has never improved. Anyway, he's been neutered, up to date on all his shots, negative for heartworm and on preventative and has had some training. He's very smart and VERY affectionate, absolutely loves people. He's at least 90% housebroken, only had 4 or 5 accidents in the 3 months we've had him and the 1st 2 I chalk up to him being new in the house and used to being outside. He's about 55 lbs and guessing about a year old. I'm happy to answer any questions just pm me. Really want to find this dog a happy home, he's definitely worth it.

Very beautiful dog... How is he around small children ?

He's not bad really. We have a 21 month old and they spend all day together with me. Mostly I have to watch play interaction between them simply because while the dog is much more gentle with our son he still just wants to play so he can more easily, though accidentally, knock over a toddler. Most of the time he does make an effort run around him. Overall the dog is not particularly interested one way or the other with our son, he follows him around sometimes if he's bored and the boy is running around. Be happy to answer any specific questions you might have just pm me. He really is a good dog.
