I usually never comment on threads started by ladies on a hard leg dominated forum. But.... consider looking at youtube videos for advice, very few here are anything other than trolling. The odt deck rebuild meet and greet is the only good one I saw. . . I didn’t read all of them though.

Buy tools cheap at pawnshops. FYI. No need to buy new. If you are renting see the landlord before hand.

just have a board pullin ODT meet and greet at your place with free pbr and you’ll be fine.

Be safe and pull every nail as you go or else you’ll slow yourself down and stick yourself, eventually. and don’t burn that old pressure treated lumber it’s still got poison in it.

And wear eye pro when you are pulling those old nails. The edges of the heads pop off all the time.

I was working on a job site years ago tearing a deck down. 1 of the guys was pulling nails with his hammer when 1 nail popped loose and the point went into his eye. He ended up losing the eye. So yeah, ALWAYS wear eye protection.
