Browning 1895 Lever Action

Browning made quite a few reproductions of Winchester rifles over the years. Most of them were very high quality. I've got a Browning Model 52 22lr that I need to go shoot, and as others mentioned, they made a Model 71/348 Win. Always wanted one to convert to 50 Alaskan (didn't want to change an "original" M71).

There was a model 71 on here for quite awhile. Not sure why it never sold. Wish I had the money for when it was here.

Looks like the ones that sold are from $850 to $900 checking the completed sales. Those reproductions killed the value of the originals. Around the mid 80's I was offered a ton of money for an original 30 Government 06 (30-06) made around 1914. I figured if it was worth so much I might as well hang on to it and wait. It lost about 1/2 its value when the reproductions came out. But it was fun having an original that was in 90% condition.

I have been watching the sales of them the past couple of weeks myself. Last week a 30-40 Krag Brought $1275

This 30-06 finishes up tomorrow evening. Currently it has 30 bids
