Budlight Platinum

You don't know good beer until you've spent some time in Belgium. American craft beers can't hold their jock.

I have spent time in Belgium , and have enjoyed some nice Tripples. Honestly many of Europes brewmasters are now coming to the US for inspiration and instruction. A thought that would have been heresy 10 years ago. The craft brew cultue has taken over int he US where it isn't as limited by history and old paradigms. Ironically a good bitter, oily IPA can't be had in the UK or EU. The best the world have to offer are made right here.

i have not got any but iirc i saw some in Athens! man the 90 is stout enough!!

Yeah, I just have to try it. The 90 minute is just fantastic and 9%abv, the 120 is somewhere in the 17% range...insane! I've heard it also has a really robust, and oily hop overload...it would have too. lol

Nothing light about it...
Budweiser has 145 calories per serving; Budweiser Light Platinum (6% Alc.)* contains 137 calories; while Bud light beer has only 110 calories per serving

I love a micro-brew just as much as the next guy, but when I'm going to be fishing/golfing all day in the hot sun, I can't drink 12 Sweetwater 420s to keep me cool.

There are times in life when cold, cheap, light beer is the only answer.
Well, try our Road Trip then or even Blue if you like the fruity stuff, Terrapin has some nice lighter stuff to.

Meh, it's all personal preference, while I'd almost agree with you, as I've gone to Belgian just to drink beer, it's all in the eye of the beholder. As a brewer my favorite is German Beers, they are a much more difficult ne'er to make right and when made right, they are unreal, especially a brewery like Ayinger.

But again its all regional. The US does some beers (hoppy beer) better than anyone, while Germans have lagers and hefes, and the Belgians well have Belgians.
