Bushcraft Smoker

Got the family out today for some fire work and then cooked over the fire with our homemade Grill/Smoker...

Green boughs make up the grate of the grill and the Emergency Blanket acted as a windbreak and convection device...

We cut a whole chicken in 1/2 and seasoned it up nicely. We could also raise and lower the grate at the fire necessitated.

It was an awesome day....The wet wood made for some challenging fire making but some standing dead wood really helped us out! The food always tastes better when you work for it!

Im using a Trollsky Custom Guiliban (semi-nessmuk) I posted a better pic of it in the Knife Chat area. Super nice guy from Poland than hand forges all his blades...I really like it!
