Morally right? They give you the option and are completely transparent about it. This might be the most confusing thread I've ever seen on ODTSo legally yes, they cover their asses. It is still not morally right. Right there where it says calculate shipping costs, insurance is part of the shipping cost and should not be optional. If it is free shipping then that changes everything.

If they are charging a shipping cost, insurance is part of the cost of shipping. It should not be an option. If I sell you a product with the understanding that I will have it delivered, I have a legal and moral obligation to make that happen. They are slipping around the legal part of it by doing it the way they are. Morally it is still their obligation to deliver what you bought or at least is should be.
