Buying Bullets?

all I use now and for about the last 4 years or so is Extreme plated.
I have in the past used raniers and berry, I see little if any difference in performance of any of them myself.
I load them in 380, 38 Spl, 9 MM, 38 Super, 10 MM and 45 acp.
I don't load powder puff loads even for plinking, they do just fine at higher velocity, not many loads are going to push them past the 1400-1500 FPS that the manufacture says to limit them to in a range loading.
its not at all unusual for Extreme to offer 10% off and free shipping along any holiday period.
normal shipping is 5 bucks for I think any amount of projectiles.
I order them by the thousands and if the free shipping deal isn't going then I pay 5 bucks shipping.

Thanks for all the replies everyone.
I guess I should have mentioned the main reason I like plated is I am loading for Glock.

Do any of you recommend the coated or polymer covered for Glock.
Do not want to take any chances with my reloads....

I use xtream plated. Never shot lead out of glock, however I am sure it's done as long as you stay below 1100 fps. I am sure some will agree/disagree about leaded bullets, I shoot lead out of all my maks (poly-octagonal) barrels. Just watch for lead build up
Xstream has a sale right now 5% off and free shipping.

I have shot several thousand rounds from xtreme. I have also shot several thousand from Everglades ammunition. Being in Georgia I prefer Everglades due to I can have a shipment in just a few days. Xtreme is connected to Freedom munitions and Im still waiting on an order from them I placed for some loaded ammo on 07/11. That being said I just ordered a few thousand 124 coated from ACME it their coated and I will shoot them in my Glocks. I really like ACME for 158 LSWC and 148 WC for my revolvers. I have not noticed much difference accuracy wise between shooting plated vs coated. Then again that may be more of a reflection on the shooter.

Who has a link for a good price on coated bullets?

Perhaps i should try some in my Glock and see how they run.

I went to the Summers link posted earlier in this thread and they have some good prices but no coated...

I like to buy lead for cost savings and accuracy.
I like to buy L-SWC or JHPs for accuracy.
Plated are, at best from my tests, good for about 4" at 25 yards on a good day.
For 9mm 124gn:
Berry's 9mm 124gn P-RN: $97.19/1000 (say, 10 cents/bullet)
X-treme 9mm 124gn P-RN: $285/3750 (say, 8 cents/bullet)
Precision Delta 9mm 124gn FMJ: $88/1000 for 2000 or more (say, 9 cents/bullet)
Precision Delta swaged and coated 125gn L-RN: $225/3500 (say, 6.5 cents/bullet)
The last two are VERY accurate, particularly compared to the first two in my guns.
I'll take jacketed over plated any day and if the difference in price is less than 2 cents/bullet, I really have no choice.

Well- I finally got 500 plated from Xtreme.
They are .40/155gr FP, going to give them a try tomorrow and I will report my impressions later on.

When I pulled a couple down after I crimped them the plating seems thick enough to handle the crimp I applied.
Had setback on one 155 from Berrys so i have to increase my crimp from now on.
The Xtreme look great so far so will see how they shoot....

Thanks for the links/advice.
