Here's some pics, Wood is fantastic condition, bore is great, no rust, no pitting, numbers are not matching. Bayonet as well. 20130425_193206_resized.jpg20130425_193227_resized.jpg20130425_193243_resized.jpg20130425_193258_resized.jpg20130425_193320_resized.jpg

Looks like the wood has been refinished to me. Numbers not matching and parkerized, not blued, receiver indicates Russian Capture. There is no way it would be that clean without a refinish if it is a RC.

Just my opinion, take it or leave it.

I put value at $350 range with another $50-$75 for the bayo. Also depends how fast you want to sell it.

This sounds about right , when it comes to these old war horses condition is everything. The collector value is gone as the numbers don't match and it's been refinished. Would make a great shooter.

Does it have the Nazi markings on it? I want one so bad haha I am a huge history buff. Currently teaching WW2 to my students so I have been more interested in one. Have you shoot it?
If you look on the third pic down next to the serial number you will see the german eagle with a circle under it, in that circle is a swastica

Double check with Passdaboolits at Bartow Knife and Gun Co. He has one hanging on the wall and for the life of me I can't remember what he had it priced at. He got input from several people as to a fair selling price.

In that circle "WAS" as Swastika, it was peened out by the Russians. See how deep the circle is? It was hit with a hammer and a punch.

This is what is should look like
