What is WRONG with these individuals who are doing this, guy burns his house, kills his father and brother in the fire, then goes on a rampage kills five in the process and is shot by police fatally in the end? What goes through a persons mind to kill people knowing the outcome will be either your own death or life in prison... what about the morality of "Thou shalt not kill" Why can't they take the alternative of putting a bullet through their own head right from the start...

"It was some kind of assault rife but we're not sure if it's an AR15 at this time" Every time I see these news reports I cringe, feel bad for the victims, and at the same time hate the media drama and damage it does to the general public view of gun ownership and my rights.

I wish an honest law abiding legal gun carrying citizen had taken him out before he injured and killed innocent people to give a positive for responsible gun ownership for a change.

Am I alone in wondering why this always
Happens in CT or NY or Colorado or Califeinsteina?

It is truly sad for the victims and their families, but what is so different between there and here? Is it the CC laws and the popularity of those laws? Yes there are crazies everywhere, but what sets us apart from other areas/regions?

Even though we gave the world Jimmy Carter, Thank God I'm From Georgia

And of course the first thing the whack-job does after killing his housemates is head for the nearest gun-free zone to up the body count...

Probably nothing could have saved the people in the house with him, but once he got outside there should be a least a possibility that he could be confronted by an armed good guy. That alone is usually enough to get these punks to surrender or suicide.

Law enforcement did a good job on this one from all appearances. "Get to the shooter and stop it". Could have been far worse.

I'll agree with that one and the police response was not over dramatized like a military exercise, from what I saw it looked like it was handled in a swift professional manner.
