Okay, so I'm tired of the crappy eGo-T and need something better. Still fairly new to all of this but I know I want a decent mod and a tank (not a drip tip). I've been looking at the Caravela Clones and like what I see. Thoughts? Ideas?

A variable voltage and an Iclear30 should work well, the dual coil heads on the Iclear put out a good amount of vapor

if your going to use a mechanical mod and want a tank style setup. get a kayfun lite or a clone of one and practice rebuilding unless your good at it already. its not very difficult. but i have to agree with airops a vv/vw device with a carto tank or an iclear setup is pretty hassle free and a damn good vape

as far as the caravela goes its my go to mechanical i have one and love it. cant go wrong with one. make sure you use some sony vtc4 or some mnke batteries with the mechanical mods. we dont want a kaboom lol

Do you guys have a VV you would recommend? As for batteries I was looking at the AW IMR series.

The AW Imr would work great in a vv but I personally won't use them in a mech. As far as a good vv if you want the best and most durable get a provari. Mechanical mods are more upkeep. If your not looking to spend $200 on a mod you could get Vamo or something similar. If you want to be able to crank up the power sigelei has a new 20 Watt mod that has been getting some awesome reviews. It runs about $120

Agree with the Vamo for a low cost option; never used one myself, but 2001sportTJ has some experience with them (good and bad). I'm using AWs and some cheap Efest batteries in my provaris. AWs last longer

I have three Vamos and they are great for the $$ Just pay attention when you thread on a tank or atty because you can over do it ,end up pushing the center post down then it becomes a PITA to get contact. Aside from that, not had any trouble out them at all. I like being able to adjust to find the sweet spot. I have been using a SMOK carto tank on it and enjoy the flavor but getting tired of buying cartos. Started building a few Thanks to my son Bgolden84 so my tastes are changing. If you wern't out in BFE I would give you my old Vamo V3 so you could try one out without dropping any coin. Hell I could mail it to you prett cheap, one of the flat rate boxes.
PM me your address if you want it and I will ship it your way.
