Calling all E-cig / "Vapers" .... what do you vape??

I need some insight here guys.

I'm having a LOT of trouble inhaling while vaping. I dipped before and never smoked cigs. I know nicotine is absorbed in the saliva and you dont really have to inhale, but I can tell I'm barely getting the nic compared to when I can get a decent lung of the vape.

Im using the vamo v3 and a geni or aerotank mega. It doesn't matter how much I play with the settings on either, it isn't helping.

The only juice I've tried so far is V8P bar's Thor's hammer at 50/50 pg/vg with 18mg nic, and V8P's shiner still and starscream at 50/50 pg/vg with 12mg of nic. Any of these send me coughing like crazy at the slightest inhale, so I don't believe it's the nic levels causing it.

I've seen tons on the net saying some people have problems with the PG, and tons saying some people have problems with the other ingredients.

I'm going to try a bottle of V8P's "max VG" mix. Not sure exactly what that mix is right now though. And also a local shops 70/30 mix also.

Any ideas for my to try to get this figured out?
if you were never a smoker, it has to be the nic level + pg. pg by itself gives you a slight throat hit compared to vg. try max vg with a lower nic (6/3mg) and go from there.

At nic levels that low he is going to punch people. Chewing feeds a much higher dose of nic than smoking.

Even my wife who does smoke is having a hard time inhaling the vape. I know the nic gives some of the throat hit, but she's used to that and still coughs. Not as much as me, but it gets her too. She's currently rolling her own cigs with a topamatic machine using filtered tubes and the bagged menthol pipe tobacco.

I'm trying to get her to switch but she feels it takes longer to get the same nicotine as a cig. Even with the 18mg.

I planned on buying some juice from the local shop tomorrow. I'm gonna get the wife a 70/30 18mg, and Ill try a 70/30 at an 8mg. I don't want to go lower than that and blaze through the juice quickly by chain vaping. I'm too cheap for that, lol.

I'll let y'all know how it turns out.

You NEED it!!!

My buddy is trying to get me to get something like the stingray mod. What's the differance between the two?

And I was about to post another question regarding mods anyway:

From what I gather, mods like the stingray run at a much high wattage than the vamo's 15w max.
Now I've tried the vamo at its 15w max, and it tasted like it might burnt the juice. And sort of like the heat at 15w was already way to much for me as it just felt very hot and made even tryin to inhale impossible.

Now my common sense tells me I won't be able to take the heat from a mod like a stingray or such, but I've seen a few things online that say using a mod like that and an RTA/RDA was a completly different cape experience and the heat from higher wattage didn't bother them, do to the better flavor. And I want better flavor.

So what's the differances in you guys Experiances?

All I know is I made it wensday night to late Friday evening without a dip with vaping. I dropped my stuff Friday night and shattered the tank to late in the night to do anything about it. I ended buyin a can of dip, had one pinch out of it and immediately hated it. The same stuff I've used for 4 years Tasted horrible, and I couldn't stand the way my mouth felt after 10 minutes of it. I want to get this vape thing figured out for myself without spending a ton of cash and I absolutly don't want to go back to dipping. Ever again.

Go talk to the people at XHale vapors! I have $70 in the setup I posted earlier today and everything on it is adjustable . The new istick I got will run up to 20w but 8 - 9 works great for me a my juice even taste better.
